Cop Pedalers can provide your Agency or Corporation with the best Police/Security/EMS Cyclist Training in the Chicago area. We can accommodate any size course from our cadre of IPMBA (International Police Mountain Bike Association) certified instructors. Our instructors have over 30 years in combined hands-on law enforcement bicycle patrol experience and include such agencies as the Chicago, Northbrook, Evanston, and Mt. Prospect to name a few.

The four day, 32 hour training course is hands-on and physically demanding.  We also offer a 32 hour EMS Cyclist Course as well as a 24 hour Security Cyclist Course. Some of the topics covered during the instruction include but are not limited to:

• Community Policing
• Tactical Maneuvers
• Obstacle Clearing
• Uniforms and Equipment
• Night Operations

The maximum student to teacher ratio is 10 to 1; we try to keep that ratio to 6 to 1 to give the officers a more intimate, hands-on approach.

Required equipment includes a fully outfitted Department bicycle (including lighting), duty gear and uniform.  Body armor is optional but recommended.  Course fees are $295 per student for the four-day course.
